Australia’s first LGBT+ ice hockey club.

Established in 2019 in Melbourne, the Southern Lights are Australia’s first LGBT+ ice hockey club, accepting people of all sexualities and genders as well as allies of our community.

Based out of iceHQ Sports Arena in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, the Southern Lights have a number of gender diverse and trans-inclusive teams across various skill levels with games run all year round.

We also participate in interstate games with our sibling club in Sydney, the Harbour Lights.

Whether you’re a seasoned skater or fresh out of hockey academy, we’re keen to hear from you.

Join a truly unique club and proudly represent your community while playing the game we all love so much.
